Sometimes life can really play havoc with one’s plans. That pretty much
describes my month of May. So far there has more days than not, that I’ve felt
like yelling May Day, May Day! So here I am, playing catch up on some of my
lessons. My Be Still 52 class lessons. Yet many of those days when I’ve wanted
to holler out a May Day or two, I’ve still found a few minutes to just be
still. Oh how those few minutes can help to get through they 24 hours that
surround them.
Week 48 class prompt – Coffee or Tea and Coins. I was
inspired to serve up some dollar coins and tea. Coins for the piggy bank and
tea for me. I’ve used Kim Klassen’s Lightroom Preset of kk_oldendays
Week 49 prompt – to look back over the year and find an image
that reflects our thoughts of being still…oh, how I needed this one. The image
I selected goes all the back to week 9, yet I didn’t use it as the image for the
week 9 prompt. However, it’s always been one of favorite. Using preset
kk_breeze on this one.
Week 50 prompt was to make a mess and show movement in our
image. Here’s the thing…I don’t do well with messes. Not even close. I was
tempted to just shine this prompt on. Then, without knowing it, hubby took care
of the problem for me. He made a mess in the kitchen and also provided the
movement. I know this is not at all what Kim had in mind with this prompt. But
hey, it works for me.
The upside to this mess….he cleans up when he’s done and now I have new,
energy efficient ceiling lights that replace the old circa 1980’s big bulb
monsters.
beautiful and creative, love the softness on the flower picture
