…because time is flying by so fast. How can it be that tomorrow is the first of April? Not April fooling about that. We’ve already changed over to Daylight Savings Time, it’s Spring and it has sprung, and Easter too has even past.
So what have I been doing that’s so much fun? Well, pretty much the same stuff as always.
•Hubby and I still take the travel trailer out about once a month. Usually this is proves to be an opportunity to get some photography done.
•I am still on the journey of My One Word for 2016. This year’s word is HEAR.
•Still taking classes on Photography and Photo Editing. – I won’t go into just how many classes that equates to. Except for this biggie…some time ago, I joined Adobe Creative Cloud (CC) for Lightroom (Lr) and Photoshop (Ps). Signed up for the year, and over that year I found that I had no trouble using Lr CC. Lr CC worked just like my purchased, stand-alone Lr did. Using Ps CC was another story. I kept going back to Photoshop Elements – I’ve used it for years and just knew how to do what needed doing. So after the year was up, I cancelled my CC subscription and went back to the latest version Ps Elements. During one of my (many) classes, there came something that I needed to do, that couldn’t be done in Elements. Yep, you guessed it. I subscripted again. Only this time I took Elements off my PC. I then became friends with Ps Help. And I signed up for a class that teaches beginners to use Ps. I wasn’t planning on adding another class for this year, but I’m so glad I did.
•What has brought me more joy than I ever anticipated is Scripture and a Snapshot (thank you Cheryl McCain). You can check this out on Cheryl blog here or on Instagram search #scriptureandasnapshot. These weekly posting seem to come to me in different ways. Sometimes an image I’ve taken reminds me of a scripture; sometimes I’ll read a passage and it reminds me of a photo I’ve taken in the past; or something while I’m out-and-about I’ll see something that reminds me of a verse, so I grab the camera and snap it.
Now with the days getting longer and warmer, I’m looking forward to spending more fun time outside. Even if we’re blessed enough to have those April showers that bring May flowers.
