My time management hasn’t gotten any better since my last post. At that time I was playing catch-up on three Scriptures and Snapshots. Today I’m playing catch-up on five.
We’ve been doing a lot of traveling. We spent the last half of June in Arizona and Southern California. Our Oklahoma daughter asked what we were doing the week of June 18th. “Nothing,” was our answer. I admit we were expecting her to ask if we wanted some company. How great it would be to see her and our grandson again. However, what she tells us is that she has reservations to go camping at the Grand Canyon and it would be great if we met her there. Then she asks if we would to join them on a river rafting excursion one of the days and hiking down part of the South Rim on another. Hmmm… we think about this for a minute, and then tell her sure – we’ll be there.
Here’s the thing:
1. They tent camp (and all that implies). We camp in an RV (with all the comforts of home)
2. They shoot the rapids. We shoot landscapes.
3. They’re into hiking down the canyon. We’re into strolling along the upper rim of the canyon.
We agreed that we would each do our own things during the day and then meet up in the evenings and have dinner together. We all had a great time too.
After leaving the Grand Canyon, we spent a couple of days in the Prescott Valley, before heading to So Cal to visit my parents.
Here are my Scripture and a Snapshot for the five late weeks:
Ahhh! It feels so good to be caught up again.
